+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #1554527 +++
I can also reproduce the UI freeze and high CPU usage and high memory usage.
Bug 1554527 does not fix this problem.
Version 69.0a1
Build ID 20190528172821
User Agent Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:69.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/69.0
Steps to reproduce:
1, Create a new profile
2. Open a new tab in a container (long click on "+" or right click -> Reopen in Container)
3. Browse to https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qldxyjEjjBQ
4. Scroll down until the last comment
5. Repeat scroll to top and bottom with mouse wheel/drag scroll thumb
Actual results:
Scrolling intermittently stop
Each interaction with UI is slow and then freeze: switching tabs, moving window, clicking on buttons etc.
Expected results:
Firefox should run smoothly (as usual).
I can see memory grow up.

Because of browser freeze, it is difficult to capture gecko profiler log
But, I got a log https://perfht.ml/2YVx6nz

That might be matching what I'm experimeting as well since a few days: https://perfht.ml/2McfHp7 this was captured on Twitter, I'm heavily relying on containers as well.
