DOM Inspector sidebar must be installed to see this behavior. 1. Open DOM Inspector sidebar. 2. Open Object tab. 3. Choose Object - Box Model. 4. Open sidebar to its maximum width. Actual behavior: The content overflows the max width of the sidebar. Expected behavior: I should be able to open the sidebar wide enough to be able to see the entire view. The displayed content also should not exceed a reasonable sidebar width. Suggested fix: Cause the displayed content to be within a reasonable sidebar width. I understand this to be much narrower than the maximum allowed width of the sidebar. I typically open my sidebar just enough to read the titles of the tabs. Therefore, a suggested max width for any sidebar content would seem to be 25-50 em. That's a random guess. More testing would be necessary to confirm an actual em value.
Bah. I forgot to include build and platform information. Sorry for the spam. I'm seeing this behavior on 2002070204-trunk build on Windows 98.
