User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:67.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/67.0
Steps to reproduce:
Browse to:
https://dsp.stackexchange.com/questions/59068/how-to-get-fourier-coefficients-to-draw-any-shape-using-dft
Opened Print Preview & then Printed.
Actual results:
Print Preview & Print only produces page 1 (should be about 20). Printing other long web pages does not produce this problem, it may only occur for this Stack Exchange site (AFAIK) .
Suspecting it was a Stack Exchange problem I tested printing same web pages in Chrome and was able to print all pages, not just page 1.
Changing printer made no difference.
Expected results:
I should be able to print any long web page, including this one, as per normal.

Thanks for the bug report.
Looking at the DOM of that page, I see that <body>
and <div class="container">
are both display:flex
. If I remove that in devtools, then I can print all the pages. --> This is a version of bug 939897.

I'm using Firefox Nightly (2020-05-13) to test printing the page again.
As Daniel noted in comment 1, the <body>
is a single row-oriented flex container, so bug 1622935 can fix part of the bug. But the OP's question and each answer are wrapped in <div class="post-layout">
which looks like they are in a grid container with a large row, so the content is still truncated. It may be fixed by bug 1417615, so let's reopen this bug and make this depend on bug 1417615.
