Steps to reproduce:

1. set to zoom 60%~90% or 110%~140% (exclude 50%, 100%, 200%...)
2. explore any web site
3. check the text

Actual results:

Some of the text looks stretched or torn

Expected results:

Text are should be clearly shown

Hi,

I wasn't able to reproduce this issue on Firefox Nightly 69.0a1
The text looks clear to me on every zoom %

Could you please test if the issue occurs in Safe mode? Here is a link that can help you with that:

Hi, thanks to reply.

I tested firefox in safe mode, and not reproduce this issue.
so i created a new profile.
Nevertheless, the same problem occurred.
so... I disabled hardware acceleration and then tested it again and the problem did not replicate.
I think there's a problem with hardware acceleration.

See your about:support and check Graphics - Compositing.
If compositing is WebRender, set gfx.webrender.force-disabled off.
maybe fix it. on my Env, same bug is happened...

This looks suspiciously similar to bug 1563983; I'm guessing it may be a dupe of the same issue. Looks like an off-by-one glitch (rounding error) along the edge of a rendered tile or something like that.

Please open main menu, click on "Help", then "About Firefox" and check if you've got the latest update to 69.0b7. Does this bug still occur?

hi, i'm using 70.0a1 nightly.
And it seems that the problem has been solved.
I've reactivated the webrender and the text is clearly shown.
