Jean-Pierre, what theme are you using? Using Mac/2002080208/9.2.2 and Modern, I see the
next item getting highlighted, but it's the "background" highlighted style (that is, light rather than
dark blue). The window must have focus removed then restored to change it to the "foreground"
highlighted style.
Is this what you're seeing?

Right. It works with modern theme. The problem is with the classic theme.
Now i have build: 2002310708. No highligh after a remove, even clicking with the
mouse
The proposed patch for bug 162279 might resolve this issue. Please keep an eye
on that bug.
Confirmed using Mac/2002080208/Classic/9.2.2.
Err, I meant patch for bug 163884.

Not corrected with Build 2002110408. I have no more the min value message, but
my original report is still valid

Some other precisions after the fix of bug 163884
Now when i delete all the line i have no more blank empty lines as before.
For this i trashed my download.rdf file. It was corupted by the old builds.
I have noticed now, an other problem, il don't know if there is a relation with
this bug.
With a new download.rdf file:
- I have downloaded 4 files
- Opened the download manager, Got JS Errors (see Bug 176999)
- Deleted the four lines (Clicking on "remove from list"
- Closed the dowload manager
- Downloaded 4 other files
- Opened the download manager
- Selected the 4 lines
The "remove from list" button remains disabled.
The only way to reenable it is to click on cancel
Another bug, or the same ?

My new problem about "remove from list" disabled, looks like bug 156489. I'll

Exactly same thing happens with Modern theme. Buttons are not redrwan timely,
too, see bug 161030.

I have seen similar problems using the OS X 2003-01-20-08 trunk build under 10.2.3.

Is this now fixed on a recent build?

Bug still exists in 2003052216/win98se
Steps:
0) Set Classic theme
1) Open Download Manager.
2) Click on any existing line. The selection is dark blue.
3) Click "Remove from List". The item deleted; the selection has moved to some
other item and is now gray.
4) Click on any other existing line. The selection is still gray (should be
blue, just like in step 2). Repeat clicking until your curiousity is satisfied.
5) Go to some other window (no mater Mozilla or not)
6) Return to Download Manager (usinbg Alt-Tab). Selection is blue again, as it
should be. You can now proceed to Step 2, if you want.

So you're saying that it's highlighted just not in the right colour?
If you try and remove an entry when it is highlighted in grey does it work?
Comment 18•21 years ago
|
||
Yes it does work, but the whole point of the bug is that after one deletion is
made, the selection gets "inactive" color, instead of "active" it should, and
stays like that until Download Manager window loses and re-gains focus.

MASS-CHANGE:
This bug report is registered in the SeaMonkey product, but has been without a comment since the inception of the SeaMonkey project. This means that it was logged against the old Mozilla suite and we cannot determine that it's still valid for the current SeaMonkey suite. Because of this, we are setting it to an UNCONFIRMED state.
If you can confirm that this report still applies to current SeaMonkey 2.x nightly builds, please set it back to the NEW state along with a comment on how you reproduced it on what Build ID, or if it's an enhancement request, why it's still worth implementing and in what way.
If you can confirm that the report doesn't apply to current SeaMonkey 2.x nightly builds, please set it to the appropriate RESOLVED state (WORKSFORME, INVALID, WONTFIX, or similar).
If no action happens within the next few months, we move this bug report to an EXPIRED state.

This does not seem to be an issue with the new download manager UI.
