The DoH team would like to do a canary experiment simultaneous to a staged rollout of DoH to some US users, associated with/in advance of the Firefox 69 launch, planned for Sep 2 Sep 24.

Business purpose for this request (required):

• Secure the internet!
• Understand the KPI impacts of securing the internet

Near-term requests are

• provide guidance about how differently-sized changes in retention scale to affect KPIs like MAU
• size the population for the canary experiment

• provide rapid feedback on retention/engagement impacts
