Details

In about:addons / Extensions (and possibly other areas) the top of an add-on description isn't always shown when asking for more details about an add-on.

Related: Viewing details of an add-on with a short description will reset the scroll bar in the all add-ons listing.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Add enough add-ons so about:addons / Extensions has a scroll bar. Include at least one add-on with a long description.
  2. Click on the name of the add-on with a long description.
  3. Click the back arrow.
  4. Scroll down.
  5. Click on the name of the add-on with a long description.
  6. Click the back arrow.
  7. Click on the name of the add-on with a short description.
  8. Click the back arrow.

Expected:

  1. The top of the description is shown.

  2. The scroll bar for the add-on list is the same as before the add-on was clicked.

Actual:

  1. The scroll bar from the add-on list is used so the top of the description isn't shown.

  2. The add-on list is shown from the top, losing the user-set scroll bar position.
