Details

Investigated an idea for a cheap solution - but discarded. Even if everything was as simple as we could hope - the solution only met half the the about:welcome treatments (technical limitation). Also iplementing and testing in the timeframe is highly unlikely/risky that it would be ready for skyline - and it is throw-away work that would delay delivering a solution that met the use cases better.

We wrote it up as we went - so we don't try to follow this path again.
