Very unlikely, since XPCOMDeadlockDetectorTest doesn't use thread pools.

We wound up disabling this test in bug 1473531 for osx ccov builds...maybe this is another manifestation of the same problem?

It does look like bug 1035892 might cause problems in this area:

Or it's possible that something prior to that landing might have triggered the perma-failure?

It's the first time I look at that particular test. It's disabling the crash reporter so maybe it interacts with my changes but I really don't know how. I'll try and test it locally ASAP.

Additional note: I don't have access to my Mac right now but I'll have it on Wednesday so that's the earliest I can look into this.

Backed out bug 1035892 for now.
