Details
STR:
- Visit a video site that uses double-click to trigger fullscreen mode (eg youtube).
- Double-click on the Picture-in-Picture blue video toggle.
Actual:
Picture-in-Picture window is created and video enters fullscreen mode.
Expected:
Only the Picture-in-Picture window should be created.
Double-click can happen by accident and is a common problem with aging mice switches.

Thanks for the report Kestrel. I can reproduce this issue in Windows 10, but not in MacOS.

Component: Video/Audio Controls → Picture-in-Picture
Version: 70 Branch → Trunk
There's a straightforward workaround (avoid clicking on the PiP toggle) and a learned behavior (most users know the distinction between video controls and recognize them as a distinct entity from the rest of the video area).
Mike, unless you feel strongly about this, I'd close this as something we will not have the capacity for anytime soon.
