You cannot type Japanese character in Find On page dialog to search Japanese
characters in the page.
Steps of reproduce
1. Launch Apprunner
2. Select menu Select|Find on page..
3. Turn on IME to type Japanese characters in the Find field
Actual result: Cannot type Japanese characters
Expected result: Should be able to type Japanese characters
Tested 199100618 Win32 build. I could type Japanese characters in Linux 100118
build. I cannot test Mac build since it crashed from starting.

What do you mean "Cannot type Japanese characters", which one of the following ?
a. Crash
b. IME won't switch on
c. IME switch on but NOTHINGinsert to the find text field
d. IME switch on but English got insert to the find text field
e. IME switch on but non English non Japanese display there.

I can type Japanese characters in Find on page dialog, but I see some problems.
I will test this more. Please do not close this now...

Now, the behavior is following. (tested 10-21-10 Win32 build.)
1. Select menu Search|Find on this page... to open Find on page dialog.
2. Turn on IME to type Japanese characters like "あいう" in the Find field.
At this time, the Japanese characters are displayed correctly.
3. Hit the Cancel button
At this time, the Japanese characters you typed in the step 2 are remain in the Unconverted window,
4. Select menu Search|Find on this page... to open Find on page dialog again.
5. Turn on IME to type Japanese characters like "あいう" in the Find field.
At the second time, the Japanese characters cannot be typed in the field.
Franks previous question about "Cannot type Japanese characters"
e. IME switch on but non English non Japanese display there.
6. Hit the Cancel button
At this time, the Japanese characters you typed in the step 2 are remain in the Unconverted window,

It looks like the origional problem got fix. The remaining is a dup of 12090. Mark it as dup of 12090
