The application could not be started because PNCRT.dll was not found. Re- installing the application may fix the application. Reproducible: Every time I start Mozilla or close the last open Moz window (I have turbo launcher enabled) Build: 2002071608
Reporter: Have you installed Mozilla over an older build ? If yes do this : uninstall mozilla, delete all files in c:\programs\Mozilla.org\Mozilla\ (but save your plugins) and reinstall mozilla.
did that, uninstalled mozilla, deleted all the files (backuped my profile) and started the installation from scratch but still get the same message everytime. I also get the message when I start real player, are these two linked in any way. Just for the record, what does pncrt.dll contain?
It's a file from the realplayer. Can you please reinstall the realplayer ? I found it in c:\winnt\system32\
This now works after the re-installation of real player.

Please reopen bug ...
I have Windows XP pro. It's a really new installation from 2 days on a new hard disk (few software are installed) --> just acrobat reader, pithon, WinCVS, Visual Studio .NET, .NET framework, openOffice, eudora, ICQ, and eTrust EZ antivirus ... I have installed Mozilla 1.1 beta (build 2002072104). And, at each launch of Mozilla, I have also the message PNCRT.dll --> Real audio was NEVER installed on this machine Jean-Michel Reghem
OK ... SORRY, it's my fault ... In fact, when i have done my backup of my old disk, i had keep my mozilla plugins directory ... and i install the new mozilla --> the plugins for Real One player and QuicktTime were present but these programs are not installed ... I have deleted these dll and now, no problem
