Details

Currently, double-clicking a message in the "Unsent Messages" folder opens a message for reading. It should open the message in a compose window (exactly as it works in the "Drafts" folder). This is because some people are trained to do this after almost 7 years of NN products that behave this way.
Confirmed 2002071904/win98se. So far, I work it around by moving message from Unsent to Drafts first.
