User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:69.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/69.0
Steps to reproduce:
On CentOS 7.7, install latest available thunderbird version (thunderbird-60.9.0-1.el7.centos.x86_64, brings along Lightning 6.2.9)
$ yum install thunderbird
Invoke Thunderbird and create a brand new profile with the Profile Wizard
$ /bin/thunderbird --ProfileManager --no-remote --UILocale en
Skip the setup for email account. Open Calendar tab, create a new event:
- title: Event on every Oct 23rd
- tick checkbox "All day Event"
- Start: 10/23/95
- End: 10/23/95
- Repeat: Yearly
Hit "Save and Close".
Set event filter to "All Events".
Observe that start and end date for this new event are now listed as "Oct 22, 1995"!
The event's date is shown for the correct day in the month view, but not in the tabular view (see attachment 'month-view.event-day-in-event-list-wrong_Oct-1-missing.jpg'). The very same attachment shows additionally that "Oct 1, 1995" is missing in the month view.
When switching to day view or week view, selecting "Monday, Oct 23, 1995" in the small calendar area in the top left corner leads to "Monday, Oct 22, 1995" being marked yellow in the large calendar area on the right.

Back in multiweek view, select "Sunday, Oct 29, 1995" in the small calendar area in the top left. Note that "Oct 29, 1995" seems missing in the large calendar area on the right. This is due to the label for Sunday being falsely set to "Oct 28" instead of the correct "Oct 29".

Probably related: Selecting "Sunday, Sep 24, 1995" in the small calendar area in the top left corner leads to both the Sunday and Monday column in the large calendar area on the right being labeled "Sep 24".

Sven, has your problem been resolved by updating Thunderbird (with Lightning)?

I have rechecked with https://download-installer.cdn.mozilla.net/pub/thunderbird/releases/78.2.2/linux-x86_64/en-US/thunderbird-78.2.2.tar.bz2 and its integrated Lightning calendar. With a clean profile, no additional addons.
The issue still persists, unfortunately.
