Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.15; rv:70.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/70.0
Steps to reproduce:
OS Catalina has a new auto theme change feature. When the system theme changes automatically, Firefox doesn't recognize it if Firefox was closed or was working in the background.
Actual results:
Firefox keeps default color scheme when auto theme change active on Catalina. Firefox doesn't understand when system is dark or light
Expected results:
Firefox must understand system color scheme and change its default theme from light to dark and so on even if system theme was changed in background while firefox was closed.

This sounds like a dupe of Bug 1558086.

I have set a component for this issue in order to get the dev team involved.
If you feel it's not the correct one, feel free to change it.
