Most of the addonsManager.* telemetry events are currently set to expire on Firefox 73.
These telemetry events are being used to generate some derived datasets (e.g. the "addons_daily" Derived Dataset is generated by also using the addonsManager.install and addonsManager.manage telemetry events), reports and/or dashboards (e.g. addonsManager.view, addonsManager.link and addonsManager.action are being used to generate some OKR dashboards), and so we will likely want to re-new them for more Firefox versions.
Needinfo-ing Ben and Philipp to double-check that these telemetry events are being used as described above and that we want to re-new them.

Comment on attachment 9104727 [details] data-review-bug-1590736-renew-addonsManager-events.md DATA COLLECTION REVIEW RESPONSE: Is there or will there be documentation that describes the schema for the ultimate data set available publicly, complete and accurate? Yes. This collection is Telemetry so is documented in its definitions file [Events.yaml](https://hg.mozilla.org/mozilla-central/file/tip/toolkit/components/telemetry/Events.yaml) and the [Probe Dictionary](https://telemetry.mozilla.org/probe-dictionary/). Is there a control mechanism that allows the user to turn the data collection on and off? Yes. This collection is Telemetry so can be controlled through Firefox's Preferences. If the request is for permanent data collection, is there someone who will monitor the data over time? No. This collection will expire in Firefox 78. Using the category system of data types on the Mozilla wiki, what collection type of data do the requested measurements fall under? Category 2, Interaction. Is the data collection request for default-on or default-off? Default on for all channels. Does the instrumentation include the addition of any new identifiers? No. Is the data collection covered by the existing Firefox privacy notice? Yes. Does there need to be a check-in in the future to determine whether to renew the data? Yes. :rpl is responsible for renewing or removing the collection before it expires in Firefox 78. --- Result: datareview+

Marking as qe-verify- (the patch landed is just renewing existing telemetry and there are existing tests that were failing in the 73 beta simulation because these probes were expired, tracked by Bug 1590398 / Bug 1590405 / Bug 1590421, and so this is also going to be verified by the next 73 beta simulation)
