This is one of those if it looks like a shoe and feels like a shoe, then I expect it to be a shoe. or something... steps: edit>preferences>appearance>fonts for hebrew, I can select Arial for each category (except proportional - bug 159249) for western, I get Fantasy: No fonts available for this language This makes a lot of sense, since after all, my system is designed for western, hebrew was clearly an afterthought, and yet in hebrew I can select Arial for Fantasy. Also affects: Central European, Cyrillic, Baltic, Greek, Turkish. Does not affect: Japanese, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, Korean, Unicode, User Defined, Thai, Hebrew, Arabic. If I can select a font for unicode, wouldn't it reason that i can select it for western?
> This is one of those if it looks like a shoe and feels like a shoe, then I > expect it to be a shoe. or something... I was waiting for the other shoe to drop. Now I can go to sleep. Gerv
