After updating Thunderbird from 62.x to 68.2.0 no Google Calendars can be added to Thunderbird resp. the add-on «Provider for Google Calendar». After providing the Google Account credentials nothing happens. The calendar list remains empty. No Google calendar can be selected.

No need to file more than one bug for the same problem.
