In Preferences -> Calendar the Events/Tasks combobox under "Default Values for New Items" shows a cut off string under CentOS 7 KDE and also Ubuntu. Locale en-US. A similar defect was fixed in Fx in bug 1148923.

This fixes it for me by making the box wider. I didn't see the font display problem in de or en-US locale but I think it won't hurt.

Fwiw also fixed it for me using real hardware with Suse Linux 15.1 and kde. So maybe/probably/mostly KDE was affected.
