Details
We've decided to remove the Mousewheel pref panel because it's unnecessarily geeky.

Cc'ing jatin because this affects help content.

I like to set the document scroll size bigger than the default; any way
to move that to another panel or something, so I can be lazy and avoid
editing the prefs file?
P.S. Isn't some degree of geekiness ok since it's in the "Advanced"
section?

I'm against removing this panel.
Maybe it's geeky, but makes mozilla highly configurable wrt to mouse handling.
And IIRC mozilla is a geek product: I wouldn't mind removing such a panel from
NS, since that's a product for JoeUser...

(Forgive for the spam, last comment, I promise.)
And *if* and *when* fastscroll will be implemented, this panel can be the right
home for its pref UI.

Can we close this as WONTFIX?

Product: Core → Mozilla Application Suite
The panel is still there and updated actually for the suite. See release notes
Mozilla 1.8b1 and Bug 274179 for example.
Marking WONTFIX so far. Reopen if necessary.
