Steps to reproduce:

  1. Sign in to Firefox account on both my desktop browser and Firefox for iOS (iOS 13/iPhone SE).
  2. Select "Send Tab to Device" from my desktop browser.
  3. Select my iPhone from the list.

Actual results:

I get a notification if the app is in the background (tapping it opens Firefox), but the tab itself is never opened (both when the app is closed or in the foreground).

Expected results:

The tab sent should appear in my tabs list but doesn't. (It should also be brought to the foreground if I tapped a notification for it but does not appear at all.)

This seems to be the same issue as 1605492. If sync is broken the sending/receiving a tab would be impossible.
