Details

While listing messages of a folder, I've noticed that some messages have the same id. The problem is that with the same id I can access only one of them in order to update some properties (make them read).

The emails have the same content but different headers (one of them is the id header). The email came to me in these two different ways:

  1. from my email address in bcc of the email (that I've sent)
  2. from my email address in alias email address that was one of the receivers of the email (that I've sent)

EDIT: I forgot to add that using "Mark folder as read" folder menu option, there wasn't any problem to distinguish the messages and make them read.

Well that is essentially the same message, just a duplicate of the same message.

Well that is essentially the same message, just a duplicate of the same message.

Indeed, so would be the solution to apply changes (mark as read) all the duplicates instead of giving different message.id?

I've the same issue on TB 78.8.0
