Steps to reproduce:

Attachments of emails cannot be opened from within Thunderbird.

Sequence settings were done correctly:
View -> Message Body as -> Original HTML
View -> Display Attachments Inline (check it)

Double click, right click and selecting the "open" option will not result in any action. The attachments can be saved without any problems and can be opened via the Explorer in the usual way without any problems.

It is also interesting that the LIste under Preferences -> Attachments -> Incoming is completely empty. Maybe the profiles folder is defective?

Unfortunately this is not my computer, I am only visiting over Christmas and should "have a look". The error is supposed to have been there for several weeks already. More details are not available.
