As soon as the NSS team thinks the NSS 3.6 branch is stable enough for being used in client applications, the NSS_CLIENT_TAG should get moved.

OK, it's time to do this. Kai, could you provide Linux and Windows experimental builds using the NSS_3_6_BETA1 tag for NSS? Javi, could you provide a Mac experimental build using the NSS_3_6_BETA1 tag for NSS? I made John the QA contact for this bug. Please cc other CPD QA for the browser security features as appropriate.

I'll provide Windows and Linux test builds later this evening.
Linux, Mac, and Windows test builds using NSS 3.6 Beta1 have been provided to John Unruh and Charles Rosendahl for testing. The risk of this checkin is low. However, it may be tricky to keep the "depend build" Tinderboxes green because the location of the NSS header files will change from dist/public/security to dist/public/nss. So I will request a carpool for the checkin.
Locations of test builds (available only on Netscape intranet). Linux: /u/kaie/mozilla-optimized20020924.tar.gz Windows: /u/kaie/mozilla-optimized20020924.zip Mac: from Mac OS X select the Go menu and enter afp://javi.mcom.com/. Mount the drive "Shared Drive" and extract the file MozillaNSS3.6Beta1.sea onto your hard drive.
The NSS_CLIENT_TAG has been moved to be NSS_3_6_BETA1 today.
