For archiving it is often not necessary to store an E-mail attachment [especially if it is a "Sent" E-mail, but this is even true for "Received" E-mail as well]. I'd like to be able to take an E-mail, and delete the attachment from the mail archive (using IMAP here, but this feature is useful for all mail storage).
