This bug is to fix an issue where the recordings are not used by browsertime 8 because the profile isn't being used correctly.

A patch was submitted in the sitespeedio/browsertime repo to fix it: https://github.com/sitespeedio/browsertime/pull/1185

The patch was merged, resolving this bug as fixed.
