Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:73.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/73.0
Steps to reproduce:
- Write an email to a mail-address with a umlaut (or other utf-8 caracter I assume) in the domain part.
- You can use bugzilla@wandergrüpp.li
(Using Arch Linux thunderbird 68.5)
Actual results:
- Sending will fail with: "There are non-ASCII characters in the local part of the recipient address bugzilla@wandergrpp.li. This is not yet supported. Please change this address and try again."
Expected results:
Mail should be sent. This worked in older Thunderbirds, so this is a regression. Also the error Message is wrong becasue the none-ASCII is in the domain not local part.

Reporter,
How does it behave when using version 78?

Seems to work, on Thunderbird 78.4.3, but you can test with bugzilla@wandergrüpp.li
