Bug 1590526 was needed because data/XHR documents and such don't share docgroups with the content document.
But Nika thinks it shouldn't really need to be that way, and that after bug 1590526 we should be able to make it find the right window. That would allow to forbid cross-docgroup adoption, and thus simplify bug 1377999.
