Steps to reproduce:

i) I tried to encypt a message

Actual results:

a) when trying to save, I get an error as per Bug 1623560
b) when clicking on "View security info" I get the attached

Expected results:

  1. make this clickable (or mouse-over) and give the reasons/suggestions for fixes
  2. I have seen in other versions of TB, that recipients were listed there why not in v75?
  3. in status it said "invalid" - if so, say why (mouse-click/mouse-over as per 1) )

Summary: Make "Message Security" Window more useful → Provide better feedback if S/MIME encryption cannot be used

We deliberately don't support self signed S/MIME certificates.
I suggest wontfix.

Let's do that. If you don't want to use Certificate Authorities, use OpenPGP instead of S/MIME.
