• Install https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/privacy-redirect/
• Go to about:addons and open the preferences page for that add-on.
• Focus one of the inputs and press down arrow.

ER:

• It works, just as it works in the preferences popup.

AR:

• Nothing.

Satchel seems to be taking control of the input correctly and such, and doing the datalist search alright. We get here, but never hear back from our results.

Matt, do you know what can be going on based on that?

Sorry, I don't know off-hand but in general our datalist support is a mess. I filed bug 1638433 as a meta bug so hopefully we can tackle the low-hanging fruit some day.
