We have a lot of issues with our <input type=list> with <datalist> support which ware spread across multiple components so we can use this bug to track the issues.

The widget can provide a better UX and better accessibility than websites implementing their own widgets. As the user agent we also combine results with form history to help the user.

there is some priority missing from this, there is an defect which is been P2 for almost a year and it would be a very nice feature to have fully implemented because it doesnt even require JS for autocomplete dropdowns.
