From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.1b) Gecko/20020804 BuildID: 2002080419 I received an mail containing in one line an very long hyperlink. When I print the mail, the font is resized (shrinked) so the hyperlink appears in one line on the page. The situation is reproductible also if the line contains one vere-very-very long word (longer than width of page). Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Receive an mail with an very long word (or hyperlink) 2. Print the message 3. Look at the printed page Actual Results: The message is printed with small fonts. Expected Results: The message is printed with normal fonts.

I was able to to reproduce this too with my Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.1b) Gecko/20020722 useragent,Build ID 2002072204.The font can get almost unreadable when printed.
--> do you know anything about this. Could it have to do with your recent work?

I can see this bug also in Netscape 7 Preview Release, so I think is not new.

I still see this with trunk build 20021118 on winxp, linux and macosx. If the link is very long (200+characters like a bugzilla query) all of the message content is printed in a very tiny font. It the link is shorter (49 characters like a bug link) the font for the content of the message is not smaller and the message is readable. Reporter what build are you using to see this as OK? Sorry, my mistake ... I saved the print as postscript and looked on screen - on my new bigger monitor it was readable :) Now we have an easy workaround, you can try in 'Print Preview', in the case of very long link the 'Scale' option is automaticaly put on 'Shrink To Fit' and can be modified to another suitable value, like 100%, 80% or even better 'Custom'

related to bug 129037 or bug 157833 ?
Default size seems to be "shrink to fit" so a long word (or hyperlink) will make it shrink like crazy. The font size seems to be different in 1.4b and 1.4rc1 versus 1.4a and previous releases. (Scaling it to 80% makes it almost exactly the size it was before. For me it was better the earlier way.)

WFM using scaling "shrink to fit" and 100%. please reopen if you see otherwise. Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.9a9pre) Gecko/2007102203 SeaMonkey/2.0a1pre
