All non-English named folder contents deleted while the empty folder duplicated

Steps to reproduce:
No specific action required to reproduce the issue.
Actual results:
All non-English named folder (Korean) contents were deleted. At the same time the empty folder remained duplicated. You can see the problem in the attached file. Literally all my messages under the non-English named folder are gone. English named folders are intact.
Expected results:
No explanation needed.

After I changed (duplicate folder name in Korean).msf and (duplicate folder name in Korean) (same file name with no extension) to (english name replacement).msf and (english name replacement).(same file name with no extension), I could eventually recover my files. There were .msf files and folders with names (50a0913c, 9852877d, 7002179a) which keeps appearing even after being deleted until All names of the Korean named files were changed to English name replacement. I guess it might be related to name conversion rules for non-English folders.
