Steps to reproduce:

  1. Create a new profile for Nightly.
  2. Open a library window: All Bookmarks, All History, or All Downloads.
  3. Maximize the pop-up window.
  4. Restore the pop-up window.

Expected:
The result after step 4 is the same as after step 2.

Actual:
The frame of the pop-up window is visible but the contents are transparent. See the attachment. Mousing over the window will cause the contents to be displayed.

Using Nightly on Ubuntu running XFCE. Seen with Nightly 76.0a1. Unable to reproduce with Firefox 74.

Would you be willing to try and get a regression range for this?

The only bug in the push is bug 1547702 with a subject of "Allow WebRender on more Intel devices". That doesn't really identify the underlying change that cause the issue. Is it possible and useful to force WebRender on when mozregression is run?

Mousing over the window will cause the contents to be displayed.

Thanks, this bug is known and only present with OpenGL/WebRender on X11 with KDE and XFCE.

On Linux, WebRender is currently only enabled in Nightly. (It can also be force-enabled with gfx.webrender.all.)
