User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:75.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/75.0
Steps to reproduce:
Update to Firefox 75.0 (release), click in adress bar and start to search something.
Actual results:
Firefox after 75 update shows top sites and solution buttons in adress bar when you click it.
Expected results:
I think there should be some switches in browser settings to disable/enable this new feautures. Search suggestions for example has this settings so it should have too.

If you disable Top Sites for the New Tab page, the urlbar fallbacks to the old list. Note that the Top Sites list is completely customizable by you to your needs, while the old list is not.
If instead you would like a toggle to avoid the list from auto opening, that's bug 1627858

If Top Sites are properly disabled from about:preferences#home they should not appear, the list you see is just most visited entries.

Could you verify what Marco is saying here please? And to reiterate, if you don't want the list to open at all when you click, that's bug 1627858.
