  1. open www.ox.ee
  2. put the cursor to the end in the urlbar (after "e")
  3. Press F5

Exected: cursor stays on the same position.

Actual result: cursor moves to the beginning.

I do every day add payments to orders:

  1. I do open some order www.ox.ee/order/500000
  2. Entering the amount to a form and submitting
  3. Switching to another window, copying info from a bank
  4. entering a new order number

A few month ago all was fine, now I have every time to wait the order page is reloaded (with saved transaction information) and only then to change the order number in the urlbar. It takes more time. :(

Strange thing, on the page https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/home it does not moves to the beginning...

Summary: renew a page moves the cursor to the beginning in the urlbar → reloading a page places the cursor to the beginning of urlbar

The URL is like: http://www.ox.ee/admin/orders/171302 (it is an example, it is actually on a different domain)

This is likely related to "what to do when the urlbar is focused and the page navigates?". imo we should blur the urlbar.
For sure we should not move the cursor anyway. That is probably related to autofill?
There may be another bug about this, but let's keep this open.

Every day I hit to the problem. :(

During loading of a new page I want to open smth in new tab. I'm starting to write the URL (then I press ALT-Tab to open it in a new tab) and then realize the urlbar is a mess of loaded URL and I entered...
