RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 1630036

People

(Reporter: anjeyelf, Unassigned)

Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:75.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/75.0

Steps to reproduce:

Compose a comment to assist in Thunderbird Support forum.
Sentence ended and clicked on 'Return/Enter' key.
Cursor started new line and comment proceeded.
I composed several instructions on separate lines.

Actual results:

When posted, all the separate lines of clearly defined instructions were now contiguous; all separate lines removed and instead of a list type of display, the 'Return/Enter' key was ignored and now each sentence follows the other as if one paragraph.

This has occured since the update to latest 75 version.

Expected results:

'Return/Enter' key should be honoured and not removed.
The comment I type should be posted the same.
If I write a sentence and click on 'Enter/Return' key and cursor goes to new line, that new line should not be edited out when posting.
It means I have to edit all coments again.
It means clear instructions appear messy and confusing.
This problem occured immediately the new sumo layout took place.
