User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.0.0) Gecko/20020530 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.0.0) Gecko/20020530 I have about 10 tabs open simultaneously. One of the tabs has been left in a state where it can't be closed and no pages can be rendered in it. AAMOF, if you select the tab to the right of it, via ctrl-pgdn or the mouse, the "orphaned" tab looses it's left border and blends into the tab to it's left, making it look like one huge tab instead of two separate ones. The title in the tab says HTTP://... but when you click on the tab itself the Address bar across the top of the browser says About:blank. I don't have a web page to post a picture, but a screen shot can be made available for emailing. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
Do you have any steps in order to reproduce the problem? Can you please try again with a current build like 1.1RC1?
Unfortunately, no I can't reproduce it at will -- about all I can offer is a screen shot. It happened while I was in the middle of doing 20 different things. I looked up an noticed an odd border on 1 of the tabs. When I tried to close it my requests where ignored; the tab remained open, but I got no message that it couldn't be closed either. If I attempt to enter a URL it just stares at me. I can try RC1, but I'm not certain I could reproduce it even with the version I have. Is RC1 a debug build? I've kinda got used to the speed of the release build and don't want to give it up. :-)
Sounds to me this is a mix of two seperate bugs. One the unclosable tab, bug 137477, followed by a mild case of chrome corruption (bug 153864 or similar) causing the tabs to blend together. Marking as a dupe of bug 137477. Reporter: feel free to read the description of that bug and reopen if you disagree. Also, you can attach (upload) screenshots to a bug report with the "Create a New Attachment" link - no need to have a web page or email it. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 137477 ***

After looking at 137477 I agree; this one seems to be the same problem. I did search before posting, but I guess I used the wrong key words...
