Details

While most other form tags receive proper CSS background color tags, the HTML
form tag TEXTAREA remains standard aqua white. The attached URL has a purple
background with white text: note that the white text is being parsed while the
background isn't. This bug is referenced in bug #153894 as a WONTFIX, but may I
ask for a kludge? Can you skip the parsing of the foreground tag so life isn't
horribly difficult for the users?
Nick: it looks like you linked to the wrong bug there.

In any case, your workaround sounds like a good idea if noone is interested in
actually fixing the bug. This bug forces me to use another browser for one of
my favorite site as it is now, and just not coloring the foreground text in a
TEXTAREA seems like a quick&easy fix.
