Note

  • When the tab switch warning gets displayed on my Linux system, it appears as if the right side of it is missing some styling.

Affected versions

  • Ubuntu 18.04.4 LTS

Affected platforms

  • It was only reproduced on Linux
  • It was reproduced on a specific system (like bug 1640771; about support information is provided for both these systems in the bug)

Steps to reproduce
Required prefs:

  • Flip privacy.webrtc.allowSilencingNotifications to true
  • Flip privacy.webrtc.legacyGlobalIndicator to false
  • Flip privacy.webrtc.sharedTabWarning to true
  1. Engage in a video conference on any WebRTC web-app.
  2. Open a few random tabs in the same window.
  3. Start sharing your entire screen or your window.
  4. Click on another tab once.
  5. Click on yet another tab for the tab-switch-warning to be displayed.

Expected result

  • The tab switch warning is properly displayed.

Actual result

  • The right side of the tab switch warning pop-up is missing shadow/styling.

Regression range

  • This is an implementation issue, considering that the tab-switch-warning was just implemented.

Additional notes

  • Information about the systems affected and unaffected are the same as in bug 1640771.
