Steps to reproduce:

Hello ,

i have downloaded latest Thunderbird via Homepage.
It would give me Thunderbird 68.68.1 (32bit)

had already installed seamonkey 2.49.5 (64bit) with correct imap mailaccounts.

when trying to import those accounts on thunderbird by selecting import > import everything > it would pick up options , account details etc. from Seamonkey 2 or later and when i would click next, nothing would get imported

Actual results:

account details do not get imported

Expected results:

mailaccounts from seamonkey should get imported

windows 7 64bit
seamonkey 2.49.5 64bit
thunderbird 68.8.1 32bit

Covered by Bug 272292 - unable to import Seamonkey data into Thunderbird ?

it is also not possible to import OUTLOOK 2013 mail account settings into Thunderbird (latest 68.8.1).
don't know if this is a bug;

i select instead "import everything" > "Import" > "Mail" > "Outlook" > Error message is "There is no standard-Mail cleint available. Start Micorosoft OUtlook, and set Outlook as standard E-Mail-Client".

Have already set Outlook 2013 with all possible standards in Windows 7 Standard Program settings

ViceVersa,

it is not possible on my Debian Box (Devuan 3 based on Debian Buster) to import the Data from Thunderbird 68.6.0 (64bit) into Seamonkey 2.49+ (64bit)

on Seamonkey
selecting Tools import Import Eyerything would yield

Import all Items from Thunderbird

The following profiles are available to import from

"default-default"
"default"

if i choose one of those, and click "next"
i can select items to import
"account settings"
"adress bookS"
"newsgroup folders"
"mail folders"

all are selected by default, and when clicking next, the message appears that all items have been imported succesfully.

However, upon restart of seamonkey, no folders or mailaccounts are shown as imported, and when i click on "Tools" "switch profile" > there is only one profile (as expected) named
default
