User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:79.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/79.0
Steps to reproduce:
Ever since updating to windows 10 May update it started crashing randomly, almost never generating any crash reports or errors.
This happend even after refreshing nightly and running without extensions. Haven't tried reinstall yet.

Actual results:
Since the reddit thread I've gotten one (integer divided by zero) error:
https://i.imgur.com/25lSUAR.png
and submitted two crash reports (the only ones I have from I'd say a hundred of crashes in total). I'm not sure how to report them but here are the IDs:
bp-1c5e74ac-7ee3-4c11-ab0b-ddf880200604

If I can do anything
Accidentally sent the report before finishing the text:
If I can do anything else to help you track down the cause, I'd be more than willing to help.
The worst part about this is probably the fact that 99% of the crashes generate no crash-report.
This should be somehow related to the newest Windows 10 version v2004 as I have my extensions sycned on Mac and and it has never happened there (nor before the May update on windows)
Also since one of the crash reports mentions pkcs11 (which is an Estonian ID-card plugin) I've since disabled both "PKCS11" and "Token Signing" plugins but still got the crashes since then. Should I outright uninstall them?

HI Kait,
I will move this over to a component so developers can take a look over it. If is not the correct component please feel free to change it to an appropriate one.
Thanks for the report.
Best regards, Clara.
I had the exact same issue on Windows 10 v2004 with the latest stable Firefox v 77.0.1. Everything got back to normal after I uninstalled Estonian ID-card plugin.
It's much better for me too, though not 100% fixed. It still crashes but it's now once or twice a day.

This is a complex problem and it's due to bugs in the version of OpenSC which comes with the Estonian ID card software. We've previously blocked version 0.20.0 of OpenSC to save users from crashes but that effectively disables the ID card software functionality. Upon request from the software's developers we recently un-blocked that version since they claimed a new release would be forthcoming. I'm duplicating this bug against bug 1560486 because we've got more information about the crash there. In the meantime I contacted the developers in the hope of discovering when they will release a fixed version.
