Steps to reproduce:

Mail account is sent to NOT check for new mail, yet once viewing inbox of that account Thunderbird attempts to connect to remote mail server.

Actual results:

Thunderbird attempts to connect to remote mail server.

Expected results:

T should not be connecting to remote mail server.
