User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.0rc2) Gecko/20020512 Netscape/7.0b1 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.0rc2) Gecko/20020512 Netscape/7.0b1 When I put "www.winsite.com" into the URL address bar and press ENTER, Moailla 1.1 disappears and appears to have spontaneously closed. It is completely gone and does not show up as a running process nor on the Taskbar. This happens regardless of whether I type the URL into the address bar or enter it as a bookmark, the exact same bookmark that serves to properly call the URL in Netscape 4.78, 6.02, or 7PR1. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Reboot computer running WinXP and load Mozilla 1.1b 2.Type 'www.winsite.com' into address (URL) bar 3.Press ENTER Actual Results: Mozilla disappears and screen shows only the desktop Expected Results: Should have called and loaded WINSITE Other than installing my email and portal, Mozilla is as installed from the installer.exe file

crashes 20020820 but WFM 20020826 (both x86 linux)
Adrian: Do you have Open unrequested windows unticked?
WFM - 2002082508 trunk / XP. (FWIW: I have "Open unrequested window" unticked.)
Sound like the javascript is using the "window.close" behavior and poof, the browser closed. Haven't looked at the code yet.
Ian: 'Open unrequested windows' is disabled if i enable it, it still wfm with 20020826
WFM with 2002110408/trunk/win2k. I guess this was an issue with the javascript closing the wrong window - that shouldn't be able to happen with newer versions of mozilla. reporter (Bob): can you reproduce this bug with a recent build of mozilla (for example, 1.2beta)? if so, please comment again with details. if not, please resolve this bug as WORKSFORME. thanks.
no response from reporter for >30 days, resolving WORKSFORME. reporter: if you can reproduce this bug with a recent build of mozilla (for example, 1.2.1), please reopen this bug and give details. thanks.
