Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/84.0.4147.45 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Click "Write" to create new message
  2. Type message containing a hyperlink
  3. Link said hyperlink by selecting text->insert->link...
  4. Click hyperlink (tested: simple click, ctrl+click, alt+click, shift+click, ctrl+alt+click, ctrl+shift+click)

Actual results:

Nothing

Expected results:

The Hyperlink should have opened in a new instance or tab.

Alright listen mate.. This might not even be a Bug and if it is, it's a very, VERY minor one.. However, i think it just goes against common convention and it would be neat to check hyperlinks first before sending an important mail..

I have uploaded a video to youtube depicting here: https://youtu.be/f2If9MLoCSM

Absolutely! This request for enhancement is already on record and it should be implemented. If only it wasn't for those thousands of other things getting in the way...
