Details

I am running RedHat Linux 7.2 (Linux 2.4.7-10) on a PIII processor. The system
is not currently constrained by memory or disk. I am running Mozilla Build ID
2002082200.

When I attempt to visit a password protected web site, the browser produces the
authorization pop-up meno correctly. When I attempt to use a keyboard to input
my ID and password, the keyboard input is not registered in the input boxes in
the authorization pop-up. The only method to enter passwords is to type the
data into an xterm and use the mouse cut and paste to transfer the data to the
pop-up.

On the listed URL, I have created a test ID and password, available upon request.
Note: This may be the same problem as I reported in 165011.
Severity: normal → major
Per comments in bug 165011, this is the usual twm focus problem.
