found using 2002.08.27.05. the context menu for the bookmark last viewed in the
sidebar will appear when bringing up the context menu over the bookmarks toolbar.
0. to "start from scratch", quit and restart chimera. also, make sure your
bookmarks toolbar has some empty space at the right side. what i have is a
single "line" of bookmarks there which don't fill up all the toolbar space.
1. bring up the context menu over the unoccupied portion of the bm toolbar (on
the right side). all of it's contents are disabled. (if that's expected, perhaps
that's another bug --it should either have something enabled or not be displayed
at all.)
2. open the sidebar (eg, cmd-/).
3. select (highlight) a bookmark and bring up its context menu; select "get
info". you can then dismiss the Info window.
4. [optional] close the sidebar.
5. repeat step (1). notice that now (over unoccupied bm toolbar space) the
context menu has all enabled items.
6. in this context menu, select "get info".
results: the Info window for the bookmark selected in the sidebar (step (3))
appears. in fact, selecting any of the enabled context menu items will issue the
command for that last-selected bookmark.

hey, bug 164187 seems to follow a similar path; the end result differs, but
these bug both start with viewing Info of a bookmark in the sidebar.

What's happening here is that the context menu for the BM toolbar is looking at
the selection in the sidebar, rather than what was clicked on.
