1652763 - Text often disappears on latest Nightly

With the latest Nightly (build 20200714083249) I often have text disappearing on macOS. It happens often on Slack or Matrix especially when hovering over things or scrolling. When I move the mouse near the 'disappeared' text, the text reappears.

I hope the range is correct, it would be good if someone could verify.

We backed out https://phabricator.services.mozilla.com/D83391, so this should be fixed now. I'm going to look at it more before relanding.

Jan, what version of macOS and GPUs do you have?

It's a 15"/2018 MBP. macOS 10.15.5.

GPUs: Intel UHD Graphics 630, Radeon Pro 560X

Looks to be specific to macOS/Intel so far. I did a bunch of testing and concluded that it's the scissored clears that fail. Switching them off appears to work.
