User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:77.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/77.0
Steps to reproduce:
Actual results:
You see a white background.
This can not be changed.
Firefox prevents apps like Darkreader, to actually darken them.
See also: https://github.com/darkreader/darkreader/issues/1446
Expected results:
Provide an opportunity to let us choose whatever or not we like our eyes be blended, some of us have severe eye injuries and feel pain when looking at such bright screens.
Especially when the whole desktop and all other webpages are dark and you don't expect such a happening, maybe even in the middle of the night.
Very unfortunate :P
Thanks a lot ^-^

Thanks for taking the time to add this issue, it seems like an enhancement. I'll change flags accordingly.
Widget: GTK team, if this is not the right component please feel free to route this ticket to the corresponding team, thanks!

Hi!
Their seems no initial comment from Mozilla yet. Just adding my two cents,
Is their any concerns for Security and therefore disabled Add-ons on text/plain
pages (Expected behaviour).
Or is it a bug that on text/plain
pages add-ons don't get triggered
(the content-scripts don't get injected)?
PS: Correct Component for this is Add-ons: General and Product: Firefox
Regards,
Gusted

This was fixed in bug 1551040 wasn't it?

In a way yes. But the actual problem is actually a dupe of bug 1411641. Extensions can't inject into pages using a sandbox CSP.
