Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/84.0.4147.89 Safari/537.36
Steps to reproduce:
- Start Thunderbird
- Go to Hamburger > Options > Options > Composition
- Untick "Use Paragraph format instead of Body Text by default"
- Restart Thunderbird
Actual results:
- After unticking the option, upon starting a new message, the default is Body Text
- However, after restarting Thunderbird:
- For new messages the default returns to Paragraph
- The tick mark on the Options > Composition panel re-checks itself.
Expected results:
The options set by the user need to persist across sessions. (Otherwise, what is the point of having an options panel?)
Currently on 68.10.0 (20200629235513). The problem appeared when updating to 68.9.0 (20200602112704) from 68.6.0 (20200310192757).
